Military Career

Records show that Sidney Alexander Allerton served in the armed forces. Regimental number 1592, he was a driver 1st light horse. He left Australia Nov 1915, and joined his unit in Feb 1916. He left Kantara 16th May 1919 bound for home. He seems to have spent the whole war in Northern Africa
