Research Notes

  • Research note 02: There is a death in Yarmouth of a Thomas SIMMONS of the right age in 1893, but I am sure that the Thomas SIMMONDS with Ellen Elizaeth in Lewisham is ours as he is listed as a pensioner. His place of birth though is Kent..
  • Research note 01: In various census there are 9 chidren who have been stated to have been the sons and daughters of the Thomas (as the head of the house), but in 1911 he says he and Ellen have had just 5 children..
