Census details

Background information on The Golden Can pub, Middle Street, Norwich, Norfolk, England, - Charles obtained the license to the Golden Can Inn, Middle Street, Norwich in 3rd October 1884. The next publican was George BUSSEY who took over 10th October 1901. It was destroyed by enemy action in April 1942 and never reopened.
* The first publican listed in the Norfolk Pubs site is John CALLOW, and later his wife Hannah nee WATTS took over the licence. They held it between 1830 and 1854. This is one big co-incidence. Hannah is the Aunt of Ann WATTS who married into the bayfield family. The address then was Gildenhall Street.
