Some aspects of Harold Redfern Chugg's life. Harold represented his school (Mordialloc) at sports at age of 14, and was a winner in the long jump, high jump and races. He became a Kings Scout. Later he played football for Mitcham & Vermont, then became a tennis player. Later (late 1960) he became a bowls club champion and also played golf.

He served in Torres Strait Islands (mainly Thursday Island) in WW2 repairing weapons.10
