Research Notes

  • Research note 01: The marriage record does not contain the names of the parents, and there are a number of likely christenings in Suffolk of James. Finding a will may help. Alternatively, finding other older 'HUNTs' in the churchyard may tell us which potential parents are the better to spend time researching
    * Results - no will in Norfolk records for James BUT there was one of Benjamin HUNT of Occold, Yeoman, which confirms that James' father IS said Benjamin. It is a lengthy will (6 pages) and will need transcribing..
