  • Research note 01: Did Martha have a sister named Matilda? There is a death notice in the Mercury that reads -
    MOORE, On July 30th 1917, at the residence of his sister-in-law (Mrs ERICK) 54 Montpeillor Street, George the dearly loved husband of Matilda MOORE in the 48th year of his age. For many years in the employ of the Huon Channel and Peninsula Co. No birth shows up in Tasmanian BMD on LDS site? But the marriage does - George MOORE married Matilda COE 17th October 1893 in Tasmania.
