Census details

  • In the census taken on the night of 6th June 1841 Mary was included in the household of James Yull in Ashill, Norfolk, England along with Charlotte Blower, Michael Blower, Caroline Yull, Anna Yull and Robert Blower. She was aged 3 years.. In the house with him was Robert and Ann BLOWERS both 40 (assume that Anne is his daughter), Robert and Ann's children Charlotte 12, Michael 9 and Mary 3 and Caroline YULL 20 who is Anne's illegitimate daughter. No relationships are stated in the census, but I found the marriage of Anna and Robert in Ashill in 1827, so this is confirmation.
  • She appeared on the census taken on the night of 30th March 1851, living in Ashill, England in the household of her parents, Robert Blower and Anna Yull. She was 13 years old.
  • In 1861 Mary Blower was included in the household of William ARMSWORTH Rector of Rockland. Mary was one of 3 servants.
