  • In the census taken on the night of 2nd April 1911, Betsy was the wife of the head of the household, Thomas Harrison. The address was Malton, England. married for 20 years. The marriage had produced 8 children, one of whom had died prior to 1911. They lived in a 4 roomed house. I believe that Thomas must have filled in the census form incorrectly as this couple had 12 or 13 children in total. My hypothisys is that They had 7 with them in 1911, and one who had died. This leaves the 4 children not at home (Charles, Percy, Walter and Ernest) were not included in the total.. Their children Martin, Margaret, Emily, Doris, Norah, Jack and Evlin were living with them.
