Some aspects of Albert Victor Chugg's life. CHUGG--IGA.N. The marriage of Mr. A. V. Chugg." youngest son of Mr. G. Chugg, of Springvale road. Tunstall

Pleasant 'Methodist church. The Rev. 11. A. Taylor, of Ringwood. officiated, and Miss Enid Crouch, of Doncaster, presided at the organ. The church was a mass of flowers and emblems, and special praise is due to Mrs. Merritt, who supervised the decorating. The bride. who was given away by her father, was gowned in soft cream fabric trimmed with cream lace, and wore the customary wreath amid veil. "She carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums and heath, while the Misses Reding, of Surrey Hills, who were her bridesmaids. were dressed in pale blue Shantung silk. trimmed with net and elaborately braided. This slight touch of colour added greatly to the picturesque effect of the surround jigs; ,They carried bouquets of pink roses and" autumn foliage, and wore dainty gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr. O. Boyle and Mr. D. Boyle were grooms-men. The bride on leaving the church was presented with a floral horse shoo by a tiny admirer. The parents of the contracting parties are old residbnts, both bride and bridegroom having been reared in the district. This fact coupled with the exceptionally fine day and convnient hour. was responsible for a very large gathering at the church. The ceremony over, the bridal party drove to "Fordham," the residence of the bride's parents, where about 40 friends and relatives were entertained. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was most ably proposed by the Rev. It. A. Taylor. and the usual list of toasts duly honoured. The remainder -of the. evening was most pleasantly- passed in music and games. The bride was the recipient of many useful and ornamental presents. The singingof "Auld Lang Syne" and the departure of the happy couple brought to a close one of the prettiest weddings that has taken place in the district.14
